How Mumm works

Tell us what you want and leave the negotiation to Mumm.

A room upgrade, a lower car price or a bill you need help with—tell us what would make it better. Mumm gathers the details, negotiates for you and brings the response back for review.

Tell Mumm what I want
01 / Make a request

Start with what would make the deal worth it.

For a hotel, that might be a later checkout. For a car, it might be delivery or a service package. Type what you have in mind and we’ll help gather the dates, budget and other details that matter.

Your request opens the relevant workspace. Review the plan and authorize Mumm to get to work on the price and terms.

An example request

A weekend away, without the rushed checkout.

“We’re looking for a two-night stay. Our flight home is late, so we’d value a 2pm checkout more than breakfast. Could you include that and show us the total price?”

Later checkout Two nights
02 / We handle the back-and-forth

Give the seller more ways to earn your business.

A participating business can offer a different price, include an extra or propose another date. Its team or connected agent responds through Mumm.

Mumm works on your authorized request and follows up on the details. You can also request an offer directly from a participating business’s Mumm page.

Business response

We can offer 2pm checkout on Sunday. The two-night stay would be $600 in total.

03 / Decide with the terms in front of you

A proposal is something you can still change.

Read the full price, inclusions, conditions and any applicable Mumm fee. Ask another question, request a change, accept or decline. Payment and fulfillment follow the steps shown for that deal.
